Recreation SupervisorSUMMARYThe Recreation Supervisor will be responsible for creating personalized guest interactions across the Recreations & Activities programming, including although not limited to Bike & Golf Cart Rentals, Pool Operations, Resort Activities and Children's programming, be competent in all budgetary financials, oversee arrival and departure of all guest equipment, coach Associates, and maintain proper record keeping.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for scheduling associates
Overseeing department cleanliness and department organization
Ensuring all standards are met
Competent handling guest complaints in a professional manner.
This person will be able to train Associates.
They will be a primary resource regarding local weather conditions, local tide conditions, bike and golf cart rentals, children's programming activities, leisure activities, and pool operations
QUALIFICATIONS
College Degree or educational equivalent preferred
2 years of leadership experience
Luxury hospitality experience is a plus
Strong passion for customer service; experience handling and resolving guest concerns in a timely manner
Must be organized
Strong verbal communication skills-ability to communicate effectively with guests and vendors
Have a vast array of knowledge about recreational activities applicable to the area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs frequently.
